Sekhmet is the upholder and defender of Ma'at, who is both Goddess and concept for Universal Truth. And those nudges come believe me. If it didn't, it wouldn't be Sekhmet we were working for/with. I have found that Sekhmet is hardest to work with and as such it seems as if things are hardest on us because we chose that.
Healers must first heal themselves, Sekhmet is the Netjert of Healing. It is truly (IMHO) literal trial by fire...She is the Eye of Ra for petesake! Thats the literal SUN! She Shines! We as Her children shine too, we cant hide our lights under bushels! That's the antithesis of who we are...of who SHE is! (G) How could it be otherwise?
Sekhmet's kids are tough cookies. What we need to stand in our lives, Netjer gave us the strength to stand. It's there, sometimes more than others..but it's there. Look at what each of you have been through to get to this very moment! That.....THAT is strength! That is the fire of the female, the very fire of life that is Sekhmet and it burns in each of you.
