Thoughts About: Facing Sekhmet

When one faces Sekhmet, face to face...

If Sekhmet asks "How do you love me?" I would have to answer, I love you by showing compassion and love to others. I do action instead of words. I am truthful and helpful to all, no matter how much they piss me off. I try to be just and fair. And by being a good person, that I honor and show my love, not only in my name but in Sekhmet's name. And I do these things not to get Sekhmet's approval or blessings but because I believe they are what makes a person, a good person. It is what one should strive for, everyday.

"What is the one thing most valuable in all the universe--what is the one thing you would sacrifice your very life, your essence knowledge of you ever having been for?" It is a toss up over compassion for all living things and saving a life, someone I did not know. It's easy to sacrifice one's self for a friend or loved one (well for some people), but a stranger? I do not fear oblivion, as long as I have done some good in this world/universe. And if it means my soul for such a reason, then I would do it.

Christina, I do not know if these answer the questions the way you wanted them but it is what I feel. Do you think Sekhmet would be disappointed in me?

You answered from your heart. :) Your answers give a good insight into your very essence. You have a far more compassionate heart than I have, sometimes like a surgeon, I think that cutting away is necessary to save a life, but then there is also a lot to be said for the healing power of love. It is a delicate balance that we walk.

I am sure that Sekhmet would be pleased. :)
